Spoke Resources Ltd. is a private energy company with oil and gas operations in Alberta and British Columbia. Its primary focus is value growth through long term responsible stewardship of assets and building strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Over 30 years experience in the energy business as an executive, director, founding investor, and lawyer.

Previous roles include CEO of Surmont Energy, executive with public and private companies in the energy and IT sectors, and partner with Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP and with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.

Past and present board, investor, and advisory roles with oil & gas, energy transition, and technology start-ups.
Jeff Paquin, LLB, Director and VP Indigenous Relations

A 30 year career focused on Indigenous engagement in resource industries as advisor, business manager, and leader.

Previously held roles with TransCanada, Western Biomass Power, Jayhawk Resources, Northern Bioenergy Steering Committee, Clean Energy Association of BC, and the First Nations Advisory Board.

Currently CEO of Wapahki Energy, which develops ownership opportunities for Heart Lake First Nation in the resource sector.

Utilizing past successes to pursue inclusive and meaningful relationships between Spoke Resources and Indigenous entities.
Edward Ostrowski, P. Eng, Vice President Business Development

Over 25 years of energy experience as petroleum engineer, A&D advisor, and has held executive and leadership roles with start-up to global sized companies.

Previously with Norcen Energy Resources, Rio Alto Exploration, Luke Energy, Long Run Exploration, and Macquarie Capital.

Current role is focused on asset portfolio optimization and new acquisitions.
Daniel C. Tiberio, Vice President Commercial Development

Over 25 years in technical and executive roles focused on exploitation, optimization, and building junior companies

Previously with Norcen Energy Resources, Rio Alto Exploitation, and held the COO role in both Powder Mountain Energy and Long Run Exploration.

Current role is to expand Spoke's business into new geographical, technological, and commercial ventures.
Asset Manager

Provider of oil and gas asset management services including operations, land, accounting, due diligence, technical evaluations, and advisory services.

Since 1998, Sproule has served over 30 client companies, managed up to 14,000 boed, and expanded services from support of court ordered receiverships to include turn-key management of all aspects of oil and gas business.

Mary Hemmingsen, CPA, ICD, Director

Over 30 years experience in business development, asset management, and has had direct involvement in traditional energy as well as energy enhancement and transition enterprises.

Previously with KPMG, Brookfield Power and Utilities, and BC Hydro as well as board roles with a number of private and public companies including Bonavista Energy and Stuart Olson.

Currently serves on boards of Evergen, the Crossing Group of Companies, and InstarAGF Asset Management.
Rick Orman, Director

Accumulated over 40 years of business involvement as Chairman, CEO, and director of a number of private and public companies.

Elected to the Alberta Legislature 1986-93 and served in portfolios of Employment, Labour, and Energy.
Randy Green, Director

Technical and executive experience spanning over 30 years including founding, building, and selling two junior oil companies.

Led Niven Fischer through market expansion to eventual sale to Sproule and assumed SVP Asset Management until retirement in June 2022.

Past and current service on corporate and community boards including YMCA Calgary for an eight year term and John Hasselfield Endowment Foundation since inception.
